Kiss Sidewinder 1 or 2? For these try dives, we hope to offer you Sidewinder 2, but this will depend on when instructors receive their units.
We’ll be in central Germany in May, for a new event called Taucherlebnistage at Goitzsche-See near Leipzig. Contact us for more info! In September, we offer try dives in Hemmoor.
Our Kiss Sidewinder try dives / Schnuppertauchen take the best part of a day. Your experience includes basic CCR theory, equipment setup (bring your own Sidemount kit!) and one or two dives.
In 2026, we’ll be dividing our time between Gozo/Malta, Germany and Spain.

Start your Kiss Sidewinder training here by getting qualified to dive the rebreather to 30 m.
As a certified tech diver, starting your Kiss Sidewinder journey with with the air diluent decompression diver version to 40 m is an option.

About Yvonne
I have been a CCR diver since 2016 and a CCR instructor since 2019. During that same year, I started my own diving business, Dark Horizon Diving. My Kiss Sidewinder journey started in 2021 with a crossover. It was love at first dive. I simply felt like I was diving Sidemount – only silently.
The next few years were spent building hours on the unit, diving open ocean sites, wrecks and caves. In January 2023, I started my training to become an instructor. It’s safe to say that this has been one of the most comprehensive instructor training experiences I’ve had to date, finishing on New Year’s Eve!
