Mod 1 Air Diluent Diver (no deco)
This course is the foundation of your Kiss Sidewinder CCR journey, qualifying you to dive to 30m. Over the course of a week, you will learn and practice all the skills and acquire the knowledge you need to dive this CCR safely.
- 7 days / confined water session followed by 7 dives covering a minimum of 420 minutes underwater
- Theory through classroom sessions and practical application
- 18 years old
- Advanced Open Water Diver or Advanced Adventurer for air diluent; Advanced Nitrox and Deco Procedures for air diluent deco
- Basic Nitrox certification
- Sidemount certification
- 20 dives logged for air diluent; 50 dives for air diluent deco
- Recommended pre-learning The Human Diver Essentials at an additional cost

Mod 1 - Air Diluent Decompression Diver
As a certified technical diver, you can start your CCR journey directly at this level, qualifying you to dive to 40m. It’s an intense learning curve, and completing the air diluent course followed by an upgrade is another great option. Let’s talk!

Mod 1 - Helitrox Diluent Decompression Diver
Your alternative to decompression dives on air diluent: learn to complete Sidewinder decompression dives with a limited trimix diluent to 45 m.
As with the air diluent decompression diver rating, this is an intense learning curve, and completing the air diluent diver course followed by an upgrade is a great alternative.

Upgrades to Air Diluent Deco or Helitrox Diluent Deco Diver
Are you looking to take the next step in your Kiss Sidewinder journey? Consider upgrading from your Air Diluent Diver rating (30 m) to the Air Diluent Deco Diver (40 m) or Helitrox Diluent Deco Diver (45 m) rating.
- 3-4 days, including deco dives

Mod 2 - Mixed Gas Rebreather Diver
Step up to the next level of Sidewinder rebreather diving as a normoxic trimix CCR diver to 60 m.
- 7 days / shallow water skills session followed by 6 dives (5 on trimix) covering a minimum of 360 minutes underwater
- Theory through eLearning, classroom sessions and practical application
- 18 years old
- Kiss Sidewinder Air Diluent Deco or Helitrox Diluent Deco Diver
- Ability to handle two stages in Sidemount
- 50 hours / 50 dives logged on CCR, including at least 25 hours and 25 dives on the Sidewinder
- 10 dives of these must be below 30 m requiring staged decompression
- If you’re not yet a certified trimix diver, completed Extended Range/Trimix eLearning
- Recommended pre-learning The Human Diver Essentials at an additional cost
- Tuition / coaching and transfers to dive sites on Gozo
- Onboard O2 and diluent cylinder rental with air fill

Kiss Sidewinder Mod 1 or Mod 2 Crossover
Are you already certified as a Mod 1 or Mod 2 CCR diver? Then the Kiss Sidewinder crossover is the perfect way to continue your journey on this unique unit. You can cross over from Mod 1 and Mod 2 levels.
- 4-5 days
- Theory through classroom sessions and practical application
Mod 1 Crossover:
- 18 years old
- Air Diluent (no deco), Air Diluent Deco or Helitrox Diluent Deco Diver
- Sidemount Diver, including the use of stage tanks for decompression qualifications
- 10 CCR dives logged in the past 12 months

Mod 2 Crossover:
- 18 years old
- Mod 2 diver on a different CCR; Mod 1 deco diver on the Kiss Sidewinder
